Wow!!! 3 games into the EPL and Man U have set the pace with 3 wins in a row. Chelsea suffered a shock defeat and Arsenal is not even in the top 10! The Red Devils have showed their hunger and with relatively easy games earlier on, i expect them to lead the EPL table. It was great to see surprises in Aston Villa, Everton and Portsmouth occupying the top half of the table, but it's still very early days to see any trend forming.

The La Liga got off to a start, but i think it would take some time before Real Madrid managed to gel their new signings into a side capable of challenging Barca for the title.

Meanwhile Joaquin completes 25m move to Valencia.

Watching the Community Shield match yesterday, i can't help feeling it's like a pre-season game, the pace was slow and not much flair on display. Riise did get us on our feet with his strike but Cudicini was at fault. Sheva was always odds on to score one-on-one and it was pleasing to see Bellamy combine with Crouch for his goal.

All in all, nothing much can be concluded, it's still early days but we did see glimpses of both Chelsea and Liverpool new signings performance.

I can't wait for the EPL season to kick-off, lots of transfer rumours, absolutely loved the pre-season buildup. The Community Shield curtain raising will be on shown today! Mourinho's Chelsea vs Benitez's Liverpool. The psychological game has started, we await the winner!!!
