In Serie A, Inter Milan looks set to run away with the league with 13 straight wins. In La Liga, the title is just hotting up with Barcelona, Sevilla, Real Madrid and Valencia all within reach of the title.
Is the title race opening up in the English Premier League? Liverpool and Arsenal are not too far off from Manchester United and Chelsea.
Michel Platini is the newly appointed UEFA president. But what concerns me is he announced he will push ahead with controversial changes to the Champions League. Platini will present proposals which from 2009/10 would limit the number of clubs in Europe's elite competition to three from any one country. Which is not a good news for supporters of big clubs in Europe. I will like to see top clubs competiting in Champions League rather than a champion club from a minor country from UEFA.

What's the similarity between a Liverpool and Newcastle United fan? Answer: They both saw their team lost heavily at home. For the record, Liverpool 3-6 Arsenal and Newcastle United 1-5 Birmingham City.Mr Footie`

Happy 2007!!! That means the January transfer window is open. So far, only West Ham has managed to make immediate signings, both Luis Boa Morte and Nigel Quashie in Upton Park. Meanwhile, Shaun Wright-Phillips transfer saga continues... with Ljungberg alleged forced out by Arsenal.
Liverpool was well beaten in both League and FA cup by Arsenal. But to concede 6 goals at home in Anfield? That's absolutely unacceptable for a Liverpool fan standard!!!
By the way, Welcome to England, Mr Henrik Larsson!!!
